Eyes
The eyes were large
Semicircular sunflowers
Waiting for their butterflies
That would emerge only
After the flowers wilted.
Summer clouds touched your
Heart,tousled your hair, tingled
Your skin ,teased your mind.
Energy swelled in
Waves, to break on rocky shores
Of bleak nothingness.
The monk saw twinkle
In lotus-eyes ;so much flesh
And so many bones.
the sun burnt your back
we lay on the beach with the
crabs crawling on us.
The tingle of your
Fingers on my back I can
Hear their carbon smell.
Sea of coconuts
Smothered sultry unwilling
Moss-painted houses.
The tamarind tree
Spread its hair in the ruins
In the fort's shadows
Quickly rain happened
Rocking moist coconuts
Hiding sea-eagles.
There ,in the corner,
Wet sand glistened ,tree shadows
Fell into the sea .
